Firm Overview

Established in 1952, Kenny, Brimmer & Mahoney, LLC (KB&M) has established a reputation throughout Connecticut for providing dedicated legal representation in a wide variety of general practice law matters.  Please visit the Practice Areas page of this website for a detailed discussion of our areas of practice.

Of utmost importance to KB&M is cultivating long-standing relationships with all of our clients. We accomplish this by providing creative, cost-effective, and devoted legal representation to clients’ individual and business matters. The firm’s attorneys are committed to being readily accessible and to working with our clients to contain fees and costs, while at the same time ensuring that close attention is being paid to each case.  Our attorneys are excellent problem-solvers who handle all cases from beginning to end, throughout trial and appeal in all of Connecticut’s state and federal courts. Our attorneys are also highly experienced in mediation and arbitration.

KB&M’s commitment to a teamwork strategy sets the firm apart. Although each case is assigned to one of the firm’s attorneys, an entire staff of attorneys and paralegals provides assistance with each case. This allows us to understand every aspect of a case and ensure that a variety of creative legal theories is being explored. It also allows us to work efficiently and acquire information and documentation in a timely and cost-effective manner.

We understand the needs of our individual, business, and insurance clients to resolve disputes effectively and efficiently. KB&M has a unique commitment to provide excellent legal representation in a cost-effective manner. This is evidenced by our move from Hartford to Wethersfield in 2006, which has allowed us to decrease our business expenses and pass these savings along to our clients. Additionally, our use of alternative dispute resolution methods   resolves matters expeditiously, further reducing the cost to our clients.

In addition to our commitment to providing superior legal services, KB&M encourages its attorneys and staff to stay heavily involved in the community. Our attorneys represent clients on a pro bono basis, participate on civic boards, and volunteer their time and legal services for a variety of causes.
